Kas received her B.S. in design from Purdue University and earned an MBA in finance from Indiana University. She is a founding board member and past board president of Binford Redevelopment and Growth, Inc. (BRAG.) Kas is an enthusiastic supporter of the Binford Farmers Market. Kas and Greg Vargo have lived in the Ivy Hills area of Indianapolis since 1995.
